Work isn’t just a way to make money. It’s also a great place to make friends, especially with people who are significantly younger or older than you, new research from AARP says.
According to a survey of 1,500 adults ages 18 and older, 37 percent report having a close friend who is at least 15 years older or younger than they are. Among those who said they had close intergenerational friendships, 26 percent of respondents said they met their pal on the job.
